Description: An Anomaly Correlation Coefficient (ACC) score of 1.0 at a particular forecast lead time (i.e., forecast length) indicates that forecasts of that length were, on average, highly accurate (i.e., essentially perfect) across the Northern Hemisphere. The closer a colored bar is to an ACC score of 1.0 at a particular forecast lead time, the more accurate that model's forecasts were at that particular lead time. Colored bars represent the GFS, GEFS, and NAEFS, according to the key. A downward trend in the colored bars from left to right indicates that model forecasts become less accurate as you make longer forecasts.
