Global Monthly Greenness Fraction Data
The globala. 0.144 deg, monthly annual cycle of vegetation greenness
fraction dataset was
developed by the NESDIS GCIP group (NESDIS Land Sciences: Gutman and Tarpley).
The data is a composite of a 5-year (1985-1990) globala.mean of satellite
AVHRR vegetation index. Careful retrospective cloud screening was performed.
