NCEP NAM CONUS Graphics - Ops NAM vs Parallel NAM Forecast vs RTMA Analyses

This page is a comparison of the North American Meso (NAM) operational and parallel forecasts from 00Z 14 MAY 2013 and the best available Real-time Mesoscale Analysis (RTMA) valid at the same time.

NOTE : For sea level pressure/850 mb/500 mb/250 mb and all cloud-related fields, the best available NDAS 00-h field is displayed

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• For regional 10-m winds, surface wind observations are also displayed.
• For regional 2-m temperatures and dew point temperatures, observations valid at that time also displayed.
• All displayed winds are in knots.
