This low is still very weak in the NCEP forecast with heaviest precip

mainly offshore, but a deep low in ECMWF and MO with heavy rain and snow

moving northeast across northeast of the US and southeast Canada through

Sunday 14th and Monday 15th (though snow now mainly well inland). Meteo

France more like NCEP with development later on and heavy precip

offshore, while NOGAPS have weak coastal low but with heavy precip over

eastern states.



Actions:

Sensitive area calculations requested from ECMWF, MF, MO, NCEP, NRL.

The Observation time is chosen for the time of maximum intensity of the

low in ECMWF and MO and the observation time for the probable return

flight of the G-IV to Tampa on Saturday 13th when sensitive areas

calculated yesterday were beginning to move offshore east of Chesapeake

Bay.

MF calculations will be for a verification time 0600UTC on Monday 15th.
