north of the anti-cyclone centred on the UK; Hessian SVs also identified
an area to the south-west of Europe. The Met Office and NCEP ETKF
calculations identified an area in the western Atlantic.

Selected target area: Central Europe, Scandinavia, Iceland, eastern
Greenland and around Madeira. 

48-hr warning for 18 UTC radiosonde ascents from the above region.
